The IKA Pro-Seal allows users of ElectraSyn 2.0 to reach a vacuum as low as 50 mbar within the glass vial in order to facilitate the exchange of air for inert gas in the reaction environment. Sealing mechanisms within the cap limit the flow of gases into and out of the vial while in use.
All current ElectraSyn 2.0 glass vials (1 ml/ 2 ml/ 5 ml/ 10 ml) and electrodes are compatible with the IKA Pro-Seal. The IKA Pro-Seal can be used with a single vial holder (belongs to scope of ElectraSyn 2.0 delivery), IKA ElectraSyn GOGO Module or with the Carousel attachment for up to six vials.
Further features:
- Yellow top for easy distinction between IKA Pro-Seal and standard caps
- FKM O-Rings and SS 316Ti components for chemical compatibility and corrosion resistance
