The right tool for manual sampling
Manual Sampling is the taking of random samples from a total quantity by hand. Sampling is carried out according to a defined procedure and is used to make reliable statements about the quality, condition or composition of a particular material. The sampling process produces a sample, which can then be reassembled into a composite or mixed sample or divided accordingly using a sample divider. The goal is to generate a sample that is as reproducibly representative as possible.
Manual sampling is a process that requires precision, especially when it comes to the auxiliary equipment. At LMS you will find the right tools for manual sampling.
An important aid in sampling are scoops. Scoop cups are containers from laboratory supplies that can also be used to take liquid samples from channels or control shafts thanks to a long handle. Scoop cups can be made of a wide variety of materials such as borosilicate glass, stainless steel or plastics. Special scoops even allow aggressive liquids to be sampled. You will find an extensive selection of scoops for your laboratory needs at LMS.
